Did you buy FAKE Superdry clothing from this man?

TRADING STANDARDS raid at Newquay Circus Fields Thursday August 2012-08-23

This is the truth about one man’s greed to sell fake goods to my customers and the customers of Rosudgeon and Hayle Car Boot Sales. Almost a year ago I received complaints about a man selling fake SUPERDRY clothing and I told him my rules that I was not an expert so I would not pass judgement nor would I deprive him earnings but if I received any further complaints I would have to advise TRADING STANDARDS.
The local store Manager of SUPERDRY called to confirm the jackets and shirts were fake, I sent a detailed report to TRADING STANDARDS telling the seller of my actions. I warned him that if they were to visit our locations we are duty bound to co-operate with them and their actions which could mean losing your entire stock and being arrested for selling fake clothing.

I object strongly to fake items being sold I know it takes time for TRADING STANDARDS to build a case against a trader, despite warnings the trader sold one of the fake shirts to a trading standards officer who made a test purchase which was then taken away for analyses and confirmed to be a fake SUPERDRY product. Team handed the TRADING STANDARDS officers arrived unannounced on Thursday morning surrounding his vehicle and impounding all of his FAKE goods.
This was a very public humiliation uniformed officers in high visibility jackets with TRADING STANDARDS blasted across their backs counting and listing and boxing up this mans clothing fakes. Everyone but everyone witnessed the event and it is good for Joe Public that’s you and me see TRADING STANDARDS take action against a criminal of greed! BUT, why did it take so long?

TRADING STANDARDS tried to stop me taking pictures which are entirely in the interest of our COMMUNITY Car Boot Sales sellers and buyers however they accepted my rights to publish.

The seller, do not know his name is in the picture will never sell at any of CARBOOTSCORNWALL locations again and I ask HAYLE & ROSUDGEON to consider the same action.

After the TRADING STANDARDS departed a young lady holidaymaker who had bought presents for her family at home from this stall at Rosudgeon the previous day had found out they were fakes and came to claim a refund. She like others were conned into believing they had bought a BARGAIN! You don’t get BARGAINS from many Market Traders nowadays beware, if it looks TOO GOOD it probably is and its probably a ficking FAKE!
NEW RULES for MARKET TRADERS;
Should we get a complaint about the products you sell we will advise you of the complaint and ask what action you intend to take to resolve the complaint. A report of the complaint will be made in the CBC diary.
Should we get a second complaint we will use the above procedure and report the matter to TRADING STANDARDS in the interest of the General Public including a picture of your stall and vehicle registration numbers as well as details of your PUBLIC LIABILITY Insurance Certificate.
Alternatively you could get BANNED on the spot.

JUST DONT CON MY CUSTOMERS!
