MABE & LANHYDROCK are both ON,ON,ON for this SUNDAY! Pack up the car & get ready!
Ok so we had a rotten Saturday with lots of disappointed sellers and buyers unable to earn or spend a few pounds but the right decision was made to cancel. Over 30 sellers attended but as the rain started several of them headed for home. We were down to 12 sellers in the end and the rain was too heavy to proceed. At the same time we were told it was also raining in Wadebridge and was forecast to last till 4.00pm we decided to cancel what was the last of the season at The Royal Cornwall Showground, thank you to the loyal and dedicated Rotary members who have helped this season. A pleasure to work at this locations and a great management team! The best! Thank you!…………. So, what to do tomorrow? Load up the car and come to MABE where there will be loads of buyers wanting to spend their money on BARGAINS be there before 12.30 you will Q for a while and at 1.00pm you get shown to your selling space! You get about 20 minutes to set up your stall (no buying-no selling-no looking) and the horn goes off at 1.30pm and the crowds RUSH in to the Best Boot Sale of the day and buy and buy from your stall! If you take fifty quid you have an above average takings, over £75.00 you have done well but if you have takings over £100.00 that means the BUYERS have done well and if you take over two hundred quid both buyers and sellers have done very well! Come on load up get selling! The end of the season is nigh! Get your Christmas pressies from our Car Boot Sales! The tourists are all gone, all locals, well almost……..So bring mother and the kids and don’t forget your crap sacks for your shiddy dogs darlings! By the way look after all your money and your mobiles make sure you get nothing stolen my lovers!
