SUNDAY at MABE up to 4000 people!

8 pictures;

Great crowd but within half an hour I had a complaint that someone was trying to sell pairs of love birds others complained direct to the man that he was breaking the law so he took them off sale! Within the same period the same man then told me a mans blue sports cycle had been stolen from his stall. I contacted Lou at the front of the sale to warn her to watch for the stolen bike. Too late, the bike had been placed against the hedge behind Phyllis’s stall by a couple of student looking people according to witnesses and another student looking person collected the bike and walked out of the boot selling area! Now then my ‘car security camera’ recorded all events at the gate all afternoon and I shall be looking for the BLUE bike and some student looking men. The man who had lost the bike told me it was definitely gypsies! Not my crowd of gypsies. What’s a student looking person look like? I will have to ask Phyllis.

Now I am not going to be rude to the gentleman so we will forget about the love birds but what planet are you living on young man? You and your partner arrive at the boot sale with at least 20 minutes to set your stall up which was 10 foot wide you finish setting up your stall by placing a large cycle against your car boot table. Childs play. The sale starts and within 15 minutes someone steals the bike from your stall and you don’t see it go, but there’s more, they were trying raise money for charity? This type of stupidity can only make thieves think Car Boot Sales are an easy target!
