WHAT’S going on at St Austell?

The story to date………………….
Mr & Mrs B many years ago bought land in Par Moor Road St Austell it was their dream that they would one day own a fantastic museum where they could display old and valuable vehicles cars, Second World War transport and early farm machinery going back through the ages. Sadly the dream did not materialise as Mrs B became very ill and died of cancer.

Mr B was distraught at his loss and feels that the wonderful help given for the comfort of his wife by The Mount Edgecombe Hospice teams during her final days should be rewarded in his sincere appreciation. Mr B has asked Car Boots Cornwall if we would run Car Boot Sales on his land for one year and that all rents and income due to Mr B should be paid direct to Mount Edgecombe.

We agreed to help with the organising but firstly ask the planning department to consider the wishes of Mr B The location is extremely safe Car Boots Cornwall has had the experience of running very successful Car Boot Sales on Par Moor Road several years ago. I have a meeting this week with the Cornwall Planning Department and I shall let you know the outcome.

However, I think that it is a great charitable gesture of Mr B for present and future patients at the Hospice, and that the planners should approve these COMMUNITY Charity Car Boot Sales for the limited period of one year.

Once we receive the approval and have finalized the day/s of the Sales we will clean up the site in preparation for a May opening, it is fair to let all customers know our policy regarding prices;
