Sunday 13th of March great occasion! All our regular buyers and sellers did really well but a good CORNISH atmosphere and a good time to GOSSIP!

Did you see the CHERRYTREE stall selling jams and marmalades chutneys and sauces!

Nice stall nice people with friendly services and samples and GREAT PRODUCTS!!
Marmalades best yet and the TARTARE sauce is delightful in taste and strength!

Go on Marge! Buy some!

We love our job we love our customers and have known you all for years. Thank you for support.

ps; We may have to put some of the admission prices up soon but we promise not to put up the cost to sell at our locations which should remain from £6.00 until a review in 2012

Towards the end of last season scores of customers buyers and sellers asked if we could organise some WINTER CAR BOOT SALES!
We have done that with Falmouth, Truro and Wadebridge but the turnouts are poor.
I accept that lots of our devoted loyal and regular customers are with us all weathers but we need you to tell all your friends about our events!
Ask for leaflets to put in your local shops talk about us on the Internet and promote these events for all concerned.
We must have a minimum of 50 stall to start paying our Landlords a realistic rent otherwise………..

THANK YOU to our REGULARS!!

Thank you to all of the buyers who came to the Car Boot Sale on Sunday to support only 20 sellers who braved the sodding weather.

The lucky sellers all took good money but it is great when our regulars get together like we did on Sunday. A fantastic indoor atmosphere created by our Car Boot Community! Our regulars.

Thank you,

Geoff & Lou

Wednesday at WADEBRIDGE!

Come along and support this WINTER drive-in Car Boot Sale. We have been asked enough times for a mid-week indoor Boot Sale well here it is!
You don’t have to carry your stock inside just DRIVE IN……where you park is where you sell.
Enjoy.

Readers will recall my thank-you item about the Royal Cornwall Fayre on 4th December which to most was a success. Remember I told you about a couple who arrived late set up their stall had a row then left within one hour. Their Barclays Bank at Camborne sent the cheque they had paid for the stalls marked PAYMENT STOPPED! They had bounced the cheque! More to follow……… Happy New Year. Geoff

A well known Car Boot Seller known as the guitar man bought a box with a chicken design on the outside. He asked how much the box was and paid the asking price of a pound. When he got home he opened that box and found several pieces of jewellery that could be worth in excess of £75.00 Apparently a very pretty seller sold this to GUITAR MAN and he feels sure she was not aware of the jewellery in the box so if it was you who sold it then the GUITAR MAN will happily hand the items of jewellery back to the seller. What a lovely gesture lets hope the sellers reads this blog. This is GUITAR MAN’S email of today; () 30/10/2014 To: Geoff. Bought a small wooden box painted with a chicken at the sale today. Asked a very attractive lady “how much”. She said well the box is a pound. I paid here a pound and left putting the box and other items in a bag not looking closer until this evening. In the picture (sorry for poor quality) are 3 rings. One with 5 small diamonds, 1 with a single diamond and the third a gold and silver mix. All have markings on. Next a gold plated locket but on a gold chain and last but not least an enamel broach. I bought the box and I am sure the Lady did not realize that these items were inside. I don’t think they are of great quality or value but by rights they are still hers and if she makes herself known she is welcome to them back. Hope others would do the same for me. Geoff Says! A great gesture of goodwill, thank you. Cheers —Guitar Man

WHATS ON!! WHATS ON!!

Car Boot Sales at TRURO on SUNDAY 12th and 19th December at 1.30pm The first Car Boot Sale in 2011 at TRURO is SUNDAY January 2nd at 1.30 pm We are looking at an indoor location in Newquay and contemplating a start date at PORTH more details to follow. We will most certainly do another Christmas Fayre at the Royal, dates to follow. Falmouth has not been a successful season for us due to limited space, we have turned away up to 180 sellers which upsets a lot of people. We are looking at 2 sites in CAMBORNE for a morning Car Boot Sale mid-week. Read the details on the HOME page about Drive-In Car Boot Sales at WADEBRIDGE staring early January……….. Geoff

I had 4 complaints about not holding a Car Boot Sale on Friday cancelled due to the snow covered and very dangerous iced up Car Park.

4 complaints does not make a Boot Sale!

We will hold the Boot Sale this FRIDAY subject to weather and ground conditions.
